What is Vitally?

Vitally is a customer success platform organised around three themes: productivity, collaboration and visibility, with purpose-built AI and a library of process templates called Blueprints.

Leading with productivity rather than analytics is a deliberate and defensible choice. Most customer success platforms are built as reporting systems that tell a manager which accounts are at risk, but the customer success manager who has to act on that already knows which accounts worry them. What they lack is time, because the job is fragmented across email, meetings, notes, project tracking and internal updates. Building the platform as the place where the work happens rather than where it is reported attacks the actual constraint.

Note taking, project management and task automation are published as first-class features alongside health scores, reporting, NPS and customer surveys, which is consistent with that positioning.

Blueprints are a curated collection of proven in-app process and workflow templates, addressing the same configuration problem that this category struggles with generally: a team that has never run a structured onboarding programme does not know what one should contain, and a template is a faster route to a working process than a blank canvas.

Collaboration is aimed at increasing customer transparency, and integrations sync customer data from enterprise applications in both directions, which matters because the customer record has to stay consistent with the CRM rather than diverging from it.

Role-based paths cover CSMs, CS leaders, CS operations and account managers. Distinguishing CS operations as its own role reflects how the discipline has matured, since larger teams now employ people whose job is the systems rather than the customers.

Vitally FAQs

A pricing page is published but no plan figure was retrievable during this review. Customer success platforms are normally quoted on customer count or number of CS seats.

Because the CSM who must act already knows which accounts worry them. What they lack is time, since the job is fragmented across email, meetings, notes and project tracking. Being where the work happens attacks that.

Curated in-app process and workflow templates. A team that has never run a structured onboarding programme does not know what one should contain, and a template beats a blank canvas as a starting point.

Because the customer record has to stay consistent with the CRM rather than diverging from it. One-way sync produces two versions of account truth, and sales and CS then argue about which is right.

A distinct role in larger customer success teams, responsible for the systems rather than the customers. Addressing it separately reflects how the discipline has matured beyond individual account management.
