Editorial policy
SocialAtoZ publishes software listings, category pages that compare those listings, buyer's guides and articles. This page explains how that content is made, what we will not do, and how to tell us when something is wrong.
What a listing is
Every listing records the same fields for every product: what it costs to start, its plans, whether there is a free trial or a free plan, how it is deployed, who it is built for, its main features and common questions about it. Keeping the fields the same is what lets two products be read side by side.
The facts in a listing come from the vendor’s own published pages. Plan prices come only from the vendor’s pricing page. When a vendor does not publish a price, the listing says so instead of estimating one. The full set of rules is on How listings are verified and ordered.
How listings are produced
Listings are researched from the vendor’s pages and drafted with the help of automated tools, including AI writing tools. Nothing is published straight from a draft. Before a listing goes live it has to pass checks: the source page must name the product, every price must appear on the vendor’s pricing page as published, the logo and screenshots are checked visually, and the listing is compared against every existing listing so the same product is not published twice.
Independence
Vendors do not pay for position. The order of listings on a category page comes from how complete each record is, calculated the same way for every product, and the rules are published.
A vendor can ask us to correct a listing. We change it when the vendor’s own published pages support the change, and not otherwise.
Reviews
Reviews come from people who submit the review form with their name, organisation and role. SocialAtoZ does not write reviews and does not publish reviews on a vendor’s behalf. A listing with no reviews says so instead of showing an empty score.
Dates
A page’s date changes when its content changes. We do not change dates to make a page look recent.
Corrections
If a price, plan, feature or any other detail is wrong or out of date, tell us through the contact form or at team@socialatoz.com. Include the page and what the vendor’s own site says. We re-check the listing against the vendor’s current pages and update it when the correction holds.
