Data authority is the claim Ivanti leads with and it identifies the real failure in endpoint management rather than a feature gap. Most organisations cannot say with confidence how many devices they have, which are patched and which fell out of policy last week, because the inventory is assembled from several tools that each see part of the estate and disagree.

Self-healing operations is the logical consequence of solving that first. An agent that can reliably tell a device is out of policy can also put it back, and the value of automated remediation depends entirely on the underlying record being trustworthy, which is why the order of those claims matters.

The exposure framing rather than a vulnerability count is the more useful metric for a security team, because a vulnerability present on a machine nobody uses is not the same risk as one on a finance director's laptop, and counting exposures rather than findings is how a team decides what to fix first.
