HitFilm was video editing and visual effects compositing software from FXhome that combined an editing timeline with a compositor in one application, offering over 880 effects, 3D camera tracking, a particle simulator, and support for exports up to 8K. FXhome was acquired by stock media company Artlist in 2021, and HitFilm was later shifted to a subscription model that replaced its long standing free HitFilm Express edition.

Artlist discontinued all FXhome software, including HitFilm and the image editor Imerge, effective January 15, 2025. No new licenses, subscriptions, or downloads are available, and the official FXhome website is no longer reachable.
