Euromonitor Passport is a global market intelligence platform covering industries, channels, products, consumers and economies, used by clients in 110 countries across advertising and media agencies, business-to-business companies, consumer brands and academia.

Market sizing is what Passport is genuinely for, and it is a different product from competitive monitoring. A company entering a new country needs to know how large the category is there, how it is split by channel, how it has moved over a decade and where it is forecast to go. That data does not exist as a byproduct of anything: it is constructed by researchers reconciling trade statistics, company reports and store audits, which is why very few organisations produce it and why it is sold by subscription.

Consistency across markets is the property that makes it usable. Comparing a category in Brazil, Vietnam and Poland requires the same definitions, the same channel taxonomy and the same methodology applied in all three, which is precisely what a stack of national reports from different sources cannot give.

Passport for Academics is offered separately and Data Integration Services push the data into a client's own environment for analysis alongside internal figures. The custom research arm handles tailored work including marketing claim substantiation, industry benchmarking, opportunity assessment, market landscape reports, IPO prospectus support, export guidebooks, product positioning, channel forecasting and ecommerce tracking.
