What is Canny?

Canny is an AI-powered customer feedback platform that reads sales and support conversations to identify what to build, organised as a loop of capture, enrich, organise, prioritise and close the loop.

Attaching revenue to feedback is the argument Canny makes most sharply and it names a real failure. The company quotes a customer describing how a feature affecting 10,000 dollars of existing revenue could easily beat one worth 500,000 dollars in opportunity value, simply because there was no way to see the difference. Feedback arrives as sentiment, not as money, so without enrichment the loudest voice wins by default and the roadmap is set by who complained rather than by what matters.

Autopilot is the capture mechanism and it is more ambitious than a feedback widget. Connecting Gong, Intercom and Slack lets it read the conversations that already happen and extract feature requests from them, which reaches the enormous amount of product input that never gets logged anywhere because the person who heard it was busy selling or supporting. Canny cites a customer finding Autopilot 30 percent better than their live team at identifying feature requests.

Closing the loop is the final stage and the one teams most often skip, telling the people who asked that their request shipped, which is what makes them bother asking again. A Canny MCP server exposes the data to Claude, ChatGPT and other assistants. The Free plan is zero dollars a month and Pro is 79 dollars a month billed yearly, scaling with user volume and with an optional spend limit.
