What is Trullion?

Trullion is an AI accounting platform covering lease accounting alongside audit preparation, revenue leakage detection, financial statement validation, document matching, data extraction and substantive testing, addressed to corporate accounting, internal audit, external audit and advisory teams.

Auditable AI is the phrase Trullion builds its position on and in accounting it is the only workable one. An AI that reads a lease contract and produces a schedule has done useful work, and none of it is usable unless an auditor can trace each number back to the clause it came from. Trullion frames this as moving from source documents to validated outputs with the trail intact, which is a materially higher bar than extracting the figures correctly.

Lease accounting is the natural anchor for that approach because it is document work at scale. The current standards require every lease to be measured and carried on balance sheet, which means somebody reads the contracts, finds the term, the payments, the options and the discount rate, and rebuilds the calculation whenever any of it changes. That is exactly the work extraction with an audit trail is suited to.

Placing lease accounting beside audit workflows rather than in a standalone product is the structural choice, and it follows the same logic: the same extracted document evidence supports the accounting entry and the audit of that entry, so both sides work from one record instead of the auditor rebuilding the client's work. Trullion publishes product tours, customer stories, a compliance glossary and an audit AI readiness assessment. Rates are not published.

Every number can be traced back to the clause in the source document it came from. Extracting figures correctly is not enough if an auditor cannot verify where each came from.

Current standards require every lease measured and carried on balance sheet, so somebody reads each contract for term, payments, options and discount rate and rebuilds the calculation whenever any changes.

The same extracted document evidence supports the accounting entry and the audit of it, so both sides work from one record rather than the auditor rebuilding the client's work.

Corporate accounting, internal audit, external audit and financial transformation and advisory teams, with workflows published for each.
