Aurora creates a highly accurate solar design without a site visit, which removes the cost and delay of sending someone to the property during quoting. From just an address and an electric bill, it produces a proposal with personalized, permit-quality accuracy. For lead generation, an instant personalized 3D solar estimate can be presented to a homeowner to build credibility at first contact.

Customer accounts are unusually specific about the competitive comparison, and both name alternatives directly. A sales operations lead at Kodiak Roofing and Waterproofing reported using Solo, OpenSolar and Solargraf previously, citing scalability and inaccurate shading information as the recurring problems, and reported cutting proposal time from one to two hours down to under 20 minutes after standardising on Aurora. Another customer reported moving from Solo after inaccurate designs and slow turnaround, achieving designs in under 30 minutes and a close rate rising from 30 percent to 65 percent, with fewer change orders.
