Updated October 2026: “SSSTikTok” is now used by two different sites. The best known service runs at ssstik.io (the old ssstiktok.io address forwards there), and a separate site uses ssstiktok.org. Both were online when we checked on 27 October 2026. This guide explains how the service works, how to tell the sites apart, and how to use them safely.

What is SSSTikTok?

SSSTikTok, usually shortened to SSSTik, is a free website for downloading TikTok videos without the TikTok watermark. You paste a video link and it gives you the clean video as an MP4, a copy with the watermark, or just the audio as an MP3. There is no account to create, and it works in any browser on a phone or computer. The same team also publishes an iPhone app on the App Store called SSSTik: TT Video Downloader HD.

TikTok’s own Save video option keeps the moving logo and username on the file. SSSTik avoids that by fetching the original video file, which is why it only works for public videos.

Which SSSTikTok site is the real one?

• ssstik.io is the long-running service most guides mean when they say SSSTik. The ssstiktok.io domain redirects to it.
• ssstiktok.org is a separate site with a similar name and the same basic function.
• Many other domains copy the name. If a site asks you to log in, install an extension, or “verify” with a survey, close it.

How to download a TikTok video with SSSTik

1. Open the video in TikTok, tap Share, then Copy link.
2. Go to ssstik.io in your browser.
3. Paste the link into the box and tap Download.
4. Choose Without watermark for a clean MP4, or the MP3 option for audio only.
5. Find the file in your Downloads folder. On iPhone, Safari saves it to the Files app, from where you can save it to Photos.

Is SSSTikTok safe?

The site itself only needs a link, so it never asks for personal details. The risks come from what surrounds it:

• Advertising. SSSTik is free because it shows ads, and some ads imitate download buttons. Use the button directly under the box where you pasted the link.
• Copycat domains. Type the address yourself rather than clicking a search ad.
• Permissions. If you use the iPhone app, it needs access to save to Photos and nothing more.
• Your own security. Keep your browser and phone updated so pop-ups cannot do more than annoy you.

Is it legal to use?

Saving a public video to watch offline is generally tolerated. The video still belongs to its creator, though, and TikTok’s terms do not allow reuse without permission.
