Ivalua

Ivalua provides a source to pay procurement suite spanning intake management, source to contract, supplier management, sourcing, contract management, spend analysis, procure to pay and external workforce management. It is sold as one platform covering the whole procurement lifecycle rather than as separate modules from different vendors.

Covering the full cycle on one platform matters because procurement breaks at the handovers. A sourcing event produces a supplier and a negotiated price, a contract records what was agreed, and purchase orders should then be checked against that contract. When those live in separate systems, nobody notices that the price being invoiced is not the price that was negotiated, which is where savings identified in sourcing quietly disappear before they reach the accounts.

Spend analysis closes the loop by showing what was actually bought and from whom, which is the input to the next sourcing cycle. Without it an organisation negotiates from assumptions rather than from its own history.

Configurability is Ivalua's long standing position in this market, aimed at organisations whose procurement processes differ enough that adapting to a fixed workflow is not acceptable. The vendor has recently added an AI capability called IVA with a studio for building on it.
