Creation without code is the founding proposition, and it addresses who actually needs to build interactive experiences.

An interactive kiosk, wayfinding display or product explorer is a design problem more than a software one. The people who understand what it should do are marketers, exhibition designers, museum curators and retail teams, and none of them write code. The people who write code do not know what the experience should feel like.

The traditional resolution is that an agency builds it, which works and produces something the organisation cannot change afterwards. A product launch, a price update or a new exhibit means going back to the agency, and the display gradually falls out of date because each change costs money and takes weeks.

Putting authoring in the hands of the team that owns the content changes that entirely: the display stays current because updating it is somebody's ordinary work rather than a project.

Analytics on interactive displays is the underused half. Physical installations are usually deployed on faith, with no measurement of whether anyone touches them, which sections hold attention or where people abandon an interaction. That data is what distinguishes an installation that works from an expensive decoration, and very few deployments collect it.

Touch and beyond points at sensors, gestures and other inputs, which matters for installations where touching a shared surface is unwelcome.
