Hudl provides sports video and data technology across team performance, athlete performance, scouting and recruiting, automated capture, fan engagement and operations, with products including Hudl, Assist, Sportscode, Replay, Insight, Studio, Hudl IQ, Instat, Volleymetrics, Balltime, Statsbomb and Fastmodel.

Growing outward from video is what the product list records, and the direction is consistent. Video review was the original job, then came statistics derived from that video with Assist, then tactical analytics with Insight and Statsbomb, then automatic capture so nobody has to film, and finally livestreaming so parents can watch. Each step is the natural consequence of already holding the footage.

Serving club, high school, college and professional levels from one company is unusual and commercially clever, because a coach who learned the software at high school arrives at a college programme already fluent, and the college pitch of every team on one invoice and one platform is an administrative argument rather than a technical one, which is often what decides a purchase at that level.

Automated capture is the change that matters most on the ground, since the practical barrier to video analysis has always been that somebody must film the match, and a fixed camera that records and uploads by itself removes the volunteer from the critical path. Hudl names advertisers as a customer segment alongside teams. Rates are not published on the captured pages.
