What is Gravitee?

Gravitee is an API management platform covering design, gateway, developer portal, analytics, and event-stream management for REST, GraphQL, gRPC, Kafka, MQTT and other protocols. It supports federated management of third-party gateways including AWS, Azure, Apigee, IBM, and Confluent from one control plane, and recently added agent-focused capabilities such as an LLM proxy, MCP proxy, and Agent Catalog for governing AI agent traffic.

The core API Management product is open source and free to self-host. Paid tiers are Planet at $2,500 per month for one production gateway with unlimited users and APIs, plus custom-priced Galaxy and Universe tiers for two and four or more gateways respectively with deeper enterprise features and support. A parallel Event Management line and add-on packages for agent and auth management are also available.
