A tool producing a map quickly changes what kind of question is worth asking.

Being focused rather than comprehensive is a genuine trade. Disco does not attempt to be a platform with automation, task mining and enterprise governance attached. It performs process discovery and visualisation, which suits an analyst or consultant investigating a specific process rather than an organisation instrumenting every process continuously.
