PaxeraHealth provides medical imaging software including PACS, a vendor neutral archive and a medical imaging AI platform, covering image management, viewing and workflow across radiology departments.

Selling an AI platform alongside the archive rather than as a separate purchase is the position, and the practical argument for it is deployment rather than algorithms. Hospitals have found that buying an AI model is easy and getting its output in front of a radiologist inside their existing reading workflow is the part that fails, so the vendor holding the workflow has the shorter path.

A vendor neutral archive is the more consequential product for a health system and the less exciting one, since it separates long-term image storage from the reading software and means the next PACS replacement does not also mean migrating twenty years of studies.

That separation is the single most valuable structural decision a health system can make in imaging, because PACS contracts turn over every several years while the images have to outlive all of them, and coupling the two is what makes each replacement a multi-year project.
