TeleTracking provides integrated healthcare operations through its Operations IQ Platform, covering acute inpatient access, patient throughput, data and analytics, and ambulatory operations.

Access and throughput are separated deliberately and are genuinely different problems. Access is whether a patient who needs a bed can get one, which determines whether a hospital accepts or turns away a transfer. Throughput is how quickly a patient moves through once admitted, which determines how many beds are available for the next arrival. Solving one without the other produces either an empty hospital that cannot discharge or a full one that cannot admit.

Decision IQ adds analytics on top, and putting decision support in the same platform as the operational data matters because bed management decisions are made continuously by charge nurses and bed coordinators, not reviewed monthly by an analyst. Information that arrives in a report has already missed the decision.

Extending into ambulatory care with its own data and analytics reflects where healthcare capacity pressure now sits. As more care shifts out of inpatient settings, the operational problem follows it, and outpatient clinics have the same scheduling, utilisation and no-show economics that hospitals have been managing for decades.
