Search speed is the right thing to lead on. An archive is written to constantly and read from rarely, but the rare reads are legal and compliance requests under deadline, so retrieval time is what the product is judged on when it actually matters. eDiscovery covers searching, reviewing and producing emails to meet legal requests.

Office 365 is treated as the primary environment rather than one connector among many, archiving mail and attachments to support compliance, simplify e-discovery and give users access for legal or reference purposes. Given how much of the small and mid market has consolidated onto Microsoft, building around that is a reasonable focus.

The managed service provider channel is central rather than incidental. MSPs manage the email environments of many different customers from a single centralised administration console, and TitanHQ publishes material specifically on why an MSP should add archiving to its portfolio. TitanHQ is now part of CyberSentriq, described as one platform for MSPs securing and managing Microsoft 365. Customer testimonials emphasise policy based administration and responsive support.
