Pinpoint is an applicant tracking system covering approval workflows, hiring intake, notes and reporting, alongside attraction capabilities including AI sourcing, a candidate companion, application forms, a branded careers site, employee referrals, job board advertising, a recruitment agency portal and a sourcing extension, plus engagement automations, candidate communication and profiles, candidate surveys and a multilingual candidate experience.

The recruitment agency portal is the capability least commonly offered and it addresses a genuinely messy part of hiring.

Most organisations use external recruitment agencies for some roles, and the process is usually chaotic. Agencies email CVs as attachments to individual hiring managers, the same candidate is submitted by two agencies, nobody can establish who introduced whom first, and the resulting fee dispute is expensive and entirely avoidable. Ownership disputes over candidate introductions are a routine and unnecessary cost.

A portal where agencies submit directly into the system creates the timestamped record that settles those questions before they arise, and gives the organisation visibility of which agencies actually deliver hires rather than volume.

Hiring intake as a named step is the other capability worth noting, because it addresses where most bad hiring processes originate. A role opened without agreement on what the person will do, what is genuinely required versus preferred, and what the process will be produces months of wasted interviewing and a rejected shortlist. Structuring that conversation before the role opens is unglamorous and among the highest-return interventions available.

Candidate surveys close a loop almost nobody closes, since organisations rarely ask candidates about the experience, and rejected candidates are customers, referrers and future applicants.
