What is Atomicwork?

Atomicwork is an AI-native service management platform covering both IT service management and wider enterprise service management, built around what the vendor calls AI coworkers: agents that own service delivery roles rather than assisting the humans who hold them. That framing is the product's distinguishing claim and the thing to test, since most service desk AI assists an agent while the ticket still belongs to a person.

The pricing model follows the claim, and it is the most interesting thing about the offering. Alongside a platform subscription starting from $25,000 per year, service delivery is charged per outcome: $1 per outcome for knowledge support, $2 per outcome for access automation and from $3 per outcome for service resolution. Two AI coworkers are included, with additional coworkers at $499 each.

Charging per resolved outcome rather than per seat aligns the vendor's revenue with work actually completed, which is a genuinely different commercial structure. It also makes the business case computable, since an organisation knows roughly what a resolved ticket costs it today and can compare directly. The risk to weigh is the opposite one: at high volume, per-outcome pricing scales with success rather than plateauing the way a seat licence does, so model it against your real ticket volumes rather than a pilot.

The published examples show what an outcome means concretely: answering how to enrol in a new healthcare plan or how to expense a client dinner counts as knowledge support, while granting admin access for eight hours or a reporting role on AWS Redshift counts as access automation. Access automation is the category with the clearest value, because temporary privilege requests are frequent, time-sensitive and routinely over-granted when handled manually.

Capabilities include an AI-native IT service desk, enterprise service desk, Universal AI Coworker for live end-user support, Access Manager for identity and access governance, a modern CMDB using an enterprise IT graph, prompt-to-code service automation and service analytics. Channels cover chat, voice, email and portal, with multi-agent orchestration and integrations including ServiceNow, Microsoft Teams, Slack and Okta.
