On the free tier, the platform places advertising around published documents. That is how free publishing is funded and it is an entirely legitimate arrangement, but it means a business publishing a catalogue on the free tier shows its customers advertisements chosen by somebody else, potentially including competitors.

For a hobbyist publication that is irrelevant. For a commercial document it is the reason the paid tier exists, and it should be a deliberate decision rather than something discovered after sharing the link.

The language breadth is genuinely unusual, extending well beyond the major European languages into Latvian, Lithuanian, Bulgarian, Indonesian and others. That matters for publishers serving smaller language communities, who are frequently left with an English-only interface and readers who cannot navigate the viewer.
