Splash Music, later offered as Splash Pro, was an AI powered music generator built by the Australian studio behind the popular Roblox game SPLASH. Users typed a text prompt describing a mood, genre, or scene, and the generative engine arranged loops from a large sample library into a full instrumental track in seconds. A standout Text to Vocals feature added AI singing or rap, with a roster of AI singers and rappers, plus an AI lyric assistant. Tracks were royalty free and could be exported for commercial use.
Important status note: the product has been discontinued. The Splash Music and Beatmaker mobile apps closed on January 16, 2024, and Splash Pro was shut down for remaining free users on April 22, 2024. In March 2024 the company publicly announced it was returning to game development. The pro.splashmusic.com service is no longer operational, so the tool is not available to new users.
