What is SketchList 3D?

SketchList 3D is CAD software built specifically for woodworkers, cabinet makers, and furniture builders who need to design projects in 3D before cutting any material. Users build assemblies from boards and shapes, apply joinery such as tenon, dado, rabbet, miter, and tongue joints, and add contour profiles like round over, cove, chamfer, and Roman ogee. The software is parametric, so changing a dimension updates the rest of the design automatically, and built-in collision detection flags parts that would physically conflict before they reach the shop. Finished projects can be rendered with photorealistic materials, including more than 10 wood grain types and imported reference images, to produce presentation quality images for client proposals and shop use.

Once a design is complete, SketchList 3D automatically generates a cut list, parts list, purchase list, and dimensioned shop drawings, and can export an optimized material layout diagram, a DXF file for CNC machines, an interactive 3D PDF, or a spreadsheet. The software runs on both Windows and Mac, supports imperial and metric units, and lets projects be exported and reopened across platforms. SketchList 3D is aimed at hobbyist woodworkers, professional cabinet makers, and kitchen designers who want to catch measurement and layout mistakes on screen rather than in the shop. It is sold as a monthly or annual subscription starting at $79.99 per month, or as a one-time perpetual license for $999.99, and includes a 14-day free trial that requires no credit card.
