What is Pico?

Pico (trypico.com) was a signup and payment platform that let creators, publishers and communities add gated content, subscriptions, one-time passes and donation boxes to any website, along with tools for building an audience list from email and phone signups. In April 2023 the company rebranded as Hype after raising a $10 million Series A round, expanding into link-in-bio landing pages called Hype Kits while keeping its core creator revenue and CRM tools.

Under the original Pico model there was no monthly platform fee until a creator registered more than 500 records, with a percentage-based transaction fee applied to purchases instead. The official trypico.com pricing page could not be accessed during this research (403 error), so current pricing details could not be verified from an official source and may now be listed only under the Hype brand.
