NoteGPT

NoteGPT is an AI workspace that began as a note taker and now describes itself as an AI agent for work and growth. For video summarising, its homepage lists the job directly: summarise YouTube videos, audio, PDFs and more into clear, in-depth visual insights. Alongside that sits transcription that separates speakers, adds timestamps and removes filler words and repetitions, so a recording or lecture becomes text you can search and quote.

The summaries are one part of a wider toolkit. NoteGPT's agent can also draft documents from an outline, build editable slide decks and spreadsheets with formulas and charts, and generate images, speech, podcasts and videos. It says it routes each task across GPT, Claude, Gemini and DeepSeek to balance quality, speed and cost, and that it plans a task into steps, runs them and hands back an editable file you can keep refining. The product is pitched at educators, researchers, professionals, creators and college students.

On scale and trust, NoteGPT reports more than 80 million users and 12,000+ schools and teams, with the first two figures based on registration data. On privacy it states ISO 27001, SOC 2, GDPR and CCPA compliance and says it does not use personal data for AI model training or sell it to third parties. Pricing is published as a free plan plus three paid tiers, with limits on how many YouTube videos or audio files can be processed at once rising by tier.
