What is Accusonus (era)?
Accusonus was an audio software company founded in Patras, Greece in 2013, known for its ERA bundle of one-knob AI audio repair plugins covering de-noise, de-reverb, de-essing, de-clipping, and volume control, sold as VST, AU, and AAX plugins for use inside DAWs and video editors. The product URL supplied for this research, izotope.com, does not correspond to Accusonus. iZotope is a separate, unrelated audio software company based in Cambridge, Massachusetts, and Accusonus was never part of or merged with iZotope.
In February 2022, Meta, the parent company of Facebook, acquired Accusonus in what was reported as an acqui-hire for its AI audio technology and team. Accusonus subsequently stopped selling its products and shut down its official website. Because the company and product no longer exist commercially, there is no active pricing, support channel, or purchase path to report.
