CloudFuze

CloudFuze moves files and collaboration content between cloud platforms, covering the major storage services and the collaboration suites built on them. Cloud to cloud rather than on premise to cloud is the specialisation, and it is a different technical problem from the one most migration tools were built for.

The difference is that both ends are rate limited services rather than filesystems. A migration between two cloud providers is governed by what each will accept per hour, so throughput planning and resumable transfers matter more than raw speed, and a tool that cannot resume cleanly after a throttle turns a weekend into a fortnight.

Preserving structure is the requirement that separates a migration from a copy. Folder hierarchy, sharing permissions, version history and timestamps all have to survive, and a transfer that moves the bytes while flattening everything around them has moved files without moving the working environment they sat in.

Mergers and acquisitions are the situation that most often drives this purchase, since combining two organisations means combining two tenants that each made different platform choices years earlier. No pricing is published despite a pricing page existing, which suits work usually scoped by data volume and user count.
