AvePoint provides data management for collaboration platforms, covering migration alongside backup, governance and security. Treating migration as one phase of a longer relationship rather than a one off project is the shape of the whole offering.

That framing reflects something true about these projects. An organisation that migrates into a collaboration platform immediately acquires the problems of running one: content sprawls, permissions drift, sites are created and abandoned, and the tidy structure established during the move degrades within a year unless something maintains it.

Backup is the capability organisations most often discover they need after the fact. Cloud collaboration platforms replicate data for availability but that is not the same as retaining a copy from before a deletion, and the gap between those two ideas is where a great deal of permanently lost content sits.

Governance automation is the least visible and most valuable part. Rules that expire unused sites, require an owner for every workspace and enforce naming and access standards keep an environment usable at scale, and doing that manually across thousands of sites is not achievable. No pricing is published despite a pricing page existing.
