Froala Editor is a WYSIWYG HTML editor for embedding in applications, with integrations for React, Angular, Vue, Svelte, Django, Rails, Symfony, Ember, Gatsby and WordPress, a plugin architecture, an interactive playground and a content analyzer. It is sold on annual subscription or as a lifetime licence, with a free trial.

Offering a lifetime licence alongside subscriptions is unusual for a developer component and it suits how these are actually adopted. An editor is embedded once and then left alone for years, because replacing it means touching every place content is authored. Paying annually for something that will not change is a poor match, whereas a perpetual licence aligns with the commitment being made.

The framework list is the practical selection criterion. A component that does not have a maintained integration for the framework in use becomes a wrapper the team writes and then owns, and that wrapper breaks on every major version of either side.

Clean HTML output, named directly for the developer audience, is the requirement that separates a usable editor from a troublesome one, since output full of nested spans and inline styles becomes a permanent problem in any system that stores and re-renders it.
