What is Bump.sh?
Bump.sh publishes API documentation and MCP servers from the same source, on the premise that APIs now have two distinct audiences. As the company puts it, developers read your docs while agents call your APIs through MCP servers, and both need to stay in sync with every API release.
The stakes are framed sharply and correctly: a wrong API request costs you a developer, while a wrong MCP call costs you a customer. That distinction is real. A developer encountering stale documentation is irritated and works around it, whereas an AI agent acting on a wrong specification performs an incorrect action on behalf of someone who never saw the documentation at all.
Generating both artefacts from one specification is what keeps them consistent. Documentation drifting from implementation is the oldest problem in API work, and adding a second consumer that also depends on that specification makes drift materially more expensive.
Pricing is published at 50 dollars a month for the base tier and 250 dollars a month for the tier adding hubs, MCP servers, CLI and GitHub integration, custom domain and logo. Bump.sh also publishes an OpenAPI guide and a complete Arazzo guide covering API workflow capabilities.
