Enrollment Rx

Enrollment Rx publishes a modular admissions suite built on Salesforce, covering FormBuilder Rx for forms and portals, Events Rx for events and visits, Reader Rx for application review, Import Rx for data imports, Integration Rx for student information system and data connectivity, and Core Rx.

Building on Salesforce rather than as standalone software is the architectural decision, and it produces a specific set of consequences worth weighing.

The advantages are real. The institution gets a mature platform underneath: reporting, workflow, permissions, integration tooling and a large administrator community. Staff who know Salesforce can configure it, and the institution is not dependent on one vendor's release cycle for basic changes. Where an institution already uses Salesforce for advancement or student success, admissions data joins the same record rather than sitting in a separate system.

The costs are equally real. Salesforce licensing is additional and substantial, the platform's own complexity is inherited, and configuration decisions made by a well-meaning administrator can create problems no vendor supports.

Reader Rx addresses the part of admissions that consumes the most human time. Application review means people reading thousands of applications against consistent criteria within a defined window, frequently with multiple readers per application and a reconciliation process for disagreement. Doing that on paper or in a shared drive is how institutions lose applications entirely.

Integration Rx addressing the student information system is the necessary connection, since an admitted applicant must become an enrolled student in a different system of record, and manual re-entry at that boundary is both laborious and where data quality problems originate.
