Clockwork Recruiting

Clockwork Recruiting is a collaborative project management platform for boutique retained executive search firms. It calls itself the retained executive search platform and aims to let a firm manage every step of a search project in one place, from pipeline and project kickoff through pre-sale and post-sale workflow. The pitch is that every executive search is high stakes, and that a firm that wins its client's confidence from day one is far more likely to land a placement.

The platform covers the search lifecycle. Teams align on client requirements and search strategy, track deals and manage contracts with real-time tools to source more work, and share strategy, longlists and scorecards. A Client Portal keeps clients engaged and bought in, and automated real-time reporting plus custom reports at the click of a button replace ad hoc status updates. Asynchronous updates continually surface progress against client requirements. Clockwork also publishes an e-book, The Eight Stages of Successful Retained Search, by co-founder Christian Spletzer, with worksheets, checklists and templates.

Pricing is a single plan with all features at $149 per user per month, with annual and monthly payment options on the pricing page. The vendor argues that the longer a firm uses Clockwork Recruiting, the more efficient its searches and the more relationships it builds.
