BetaTesting is a testing and user research platform with what it calls the largest pool of real-world beta testers. Teams can reach consumers, professionals and QA testers using hundreds of targeting criteria, including demographics, devices, interests and employment information, and run tests of any duration, from hours to days or weeks. Test types on its pricing page include single-session beta tests, bug hunts, usability videos, market research surveys, multi-day and multi-week beta tests, field testing, in-home usage testing, live group and load testing, game playtesting, fintech and payments testing, children's product testing and moderated user interviews.

Every test includes participant recruiting at no extra cost, and testers can come from the BetaTesting panel, be invited by URL or email, or be drawn from your own users. Features include screening surveys, custom NDAs and terms, bug reports and a bug dashboard, surveys, tasks, usability videos, tester messaging and automated scoring, and the vendor says it only charges for testers that finish with quality participation. It lists SOC 2 Type 2 audited security, and professional services add-ons include test design help, managed testing and feedback analysis.

Pricing is published: a one-time Project credits package runs from $23 to $39 per credit depending on volume with tester incentives included, the Teams plan is $3,588 a year and includes 225 credits with incentives billed at cost plus 4%, and Enterprise starts at 20K annually. New accounts get 5 free credits to run a small test.
