Soapbox Engage is a set of nonprofit engagement apps whose defining characteristic is that every one shares a real-time integration with Salesforce NPSP, Nonprofit Cloud or Microsoft Dynamics. For an organisation already running its constituent data in one of those CRMs, that removes the usual problem with advocacy tools: an action taken on a petition or a message to a legislator lands on the supporter's CRM record immediately rather than arriving later as a spreadsheet import. The vendor's phrase for the result is one complete picture of each supporter, and it reports more than 500 nonprofits using it.

The apps are sold and priced individually rather than as a suite, which is unusual and commercially useful. Donations, Events, Classes, Forms, Directories, Shop, Petitions, Actions, Auctions and Popups each carry their own monthly price, so an organisation running only an advocacy programme pays for Actions and Petitions without subsidising e-commerce and event registration it will never use. Payment-processing percentages apply on the apps that take money, and these vary by app rather than being uniform.

Advocacy specifically is served by Petitions for signature gathering and Actions for contacting decision-makers, with a starter kit published for association advocacy. Popups can be paired with any app to convert visitors. Beyond the software, the company sells Salesforce and Dynamics consulting and managed services, which reflects that a CRM-integrated advocacy programme is as much a configuration problem as a licensing one.
