Two design choices are worth noting for anyone evaluating it. First, it adapts to your data model, integrations and workflows rather than requiring you to adopt its own, which is the usual complaint about tools in this category. Second, it works alongside CRM and marketing automation rather than instead of them: the vendor's own framing is that Salesforce records activities, Marketo runs campaigns, and Openprise handles everything in between. The vendor states most teams go live in under two weeks because no engineering resource is required, and that it never trains on customer data.
