Liminal is an institutional custody and wallet infrastructure platform for organizations that hold or move digital assets. Founded in 2021 by former Zebpay wallet engineers and headquartered in Singapore, with additional offices in India, the UAE, and Taiwan, the company builds wallets secured through multi-party computation (MPC) and multi-signature technology rather than relying on a single private key. Its product suite covers institutional custody, API-driven wallet infrastructure, staking, a policy based transaction firewall, and white-label custody applications that exchanges and other platforms can embed under their own brand. The platform supports more than 1,200 tokens across major blockchain networks, including Bitcoin, Ethereum, and other EVM and non-EVM chains.

Liminal is built for cryptocurrency exchanges, OTC desks and market makers, Web3 and DeFi platforms, hedge funds, asset managers, family offices, and banks that need bank-grade controls around digital asset movement. Assets are held in segregated, off-balance-sheet wallets so customer funds are not commingled or reused, and transactions go through configurable maker-checker approval workflows with whitelisted addresses and spending limits. The company holds SOC 2 Type 2 and ISO 27001/27701 certifications and has stated it is a CCSS Level 3 certified custodian, alongside built-in Travel Rule and KYC/AML compliance monitoring. Liminal does not publish self-serve pricing; access is arranged directly with its sales team based on an institution's size, transaction volume, and specific requirements.
