What is ConnectWise RMM?
ConnectWise RMM is one component of a suite that has long been a default for managed service providers, and that context matters more than the RMM alone. ConnectWise also supplies PSA, quoting, cybersecurity and remote control products, so buyers usually evaluate the RMM as part of a stack rather than in isolation.
The RMM covers monitoring, patching and automation across client endpoints, with the intended advantage being integration into ConnectWise PSA so that alerts, tickets and billing connect without middleware. For an MSP already running ConnectWise for service management, that integration is the argument; for one that is not, the surrounding suite is a larger commitment than a standalone tool.
