Candy AI

Candy AI (candy.ai) is an adult AI companion service: you chat with ready-made AI characters or build your own, and tokens pay for extras such as generated images, videos and voice. Its terms name the operator as EverAI Limited, a company incorporated in Malta with registration number C107181, and its subscriptions page says charges appear as “EverAI” on bank statements. Malta's company register only lets signed-in users search, so that number comes from EverAI's own pages. The candy.ai domain dates from December 2017. We checked its site, subscriptions page, help centre, terms and privacy notice on 24 September 2026, without creating an account.

What it costs. Candy AI shows prices in the visitor's local currency. From India, its subscriptions page showed:

• Free account: 5 messages in total across all characters, one custom character and one image, according to its help centre.
• 1 month: ₹1,180.
• 3 months: ₹2,445, about ₹815 a month, shown as 30% off.
• 12 months: ₹3,600, about ₹300 a month, shown as 70% off.
• Every paid plan includes unlimited text chat, 100 tokens a month, and adult image and video generation. A Premium Plus tier gives 330 tokens a month instead of 100, plus 20 memory slots, but its price was not shown to us. Extra tokens are sold separately, and Candy Roulette, its video chat with AI characters, costs 5 tokens a minute.

Plans renew automatically “for the same price and term”, and local taxes may be added. Its terms, revised on 22 September 2026, say price rises are announced before a renewal, and that a refund must be requested within 24 hours of payment, is refused once more than 20 tokens have been used, and applies only to card payments. Users in the EU and UK instead get 14 days to withdraw, less a share for what they have used. You cancel under My Profile, then Settings, then Unsubscribe, and subscriptions cannot be paused. Premium stays active until the end of the billing period, and then any unused tokens expire.

What else we found.

• Age: the service is explicit adult content for people 18 and over. From our location, sign-up asked only for an email and password, or a Google or Discord login, with a line saying that signing up confirms you are at least 18. There was no date-of-birth or ID step. Its privacy notice lists the results of third-party age estimation or ID checks among the data it collects, so users in some countries may be asked for more.
• Your chats: its privacy notice, revised on 30 July 2026, says conversations are used to “train and develop our AI models and moderation technologies”, and that preparing training data “may include human review of de-identified and/or anonymized interactions”. The site promises encryption in transit (TLS 1.2 or later), not end-to-end encryption, and its terms tell users not to share financial details, addresses, contact information or passwords in chats.
• Deleting data: a chat cannot be deleted without also resetting that character's memory of the conversation. You delete your account under My Profile, then Settings, then Danger Zone. Unless you ask for deletion, the privacy notice says account data is kept for up to three years after your last activity, and payment records for ten years.
• Tracking: on our first visit, with no cookie banner shown, the home page loaded Google Analytics and Google's ad-measurement services, advertising pixels from TikTok, Snap and Meta, Hotjar and Mixpanel analytics, and Cloudflare's web analytics.
• Apps: we found no Candy AI app in Apple's App Store or Google Play. The site's “Get App” prompt tells you to add the website to your phone's home screen to get notifications about new messages, features and sales. Its service worker file does one thing: if candy.ai fails to load, it sends you to a backup domain, candyai.com.
• Support: by email at support@candymail.ai (candymail.ai forwards to candy.ai) and through a help centre. A separate site at candyai.ai, titled “Talk with AI, naturally”, names no company in its legal pages, and Candy AI's terms do not mention it.
