What is Tungsten Network?

The Tungsten e-Invoice Network, part of Tungsten Automation, sets out to deliver fully compliant invoice digitisation that encompasses every supplier regardless of size. That last clause is the difficult part and the reason networks exist in this category at all.

Large suppliers can send structured electronic invoices because they have systems capable of producing them. Small ones send a PDF by email or paper through the post, and any buyer aiming at complete digitisation has to solve for both without telling half its supply base to change how it works. A network that accepts multiple input formats and normalises them is answering that.

Compliance is claimed rather than assumed, which is appropriate given how quickly invoicing mandates now change. An invoice that is valid in one country is not automatically valid in another, and a network operator carries the obligation of keeping formats and clearance routes current so the buyer does not have to track legislation.

Tungsten Automation is the renamed Kofax business, and the network sits alongside document capture and process automation products from the same company. That adjacency is genuinely useful, since invoice capture and invoice exchange are the two halves of the same problem, but it also means a buyer should be clear which products are in scope for a quote. Tungsten Network FAQs

No pricing is published. Network invoicing is priced by invoice volume, supplier count and the compliance jurisdictions required.

Large suppliers can send structured invoices, small ones send PDFs or paper. Reaching every supplier means accepting multiple formats and normalising them.

Tungsten Automation is the renamed Kofax business, and the network sits alongside document capture and process automation products from the same company.

Invoice capture and invoice exchange are two halves of the same problem, though a buyer should be clear which products are in scope for any quote.

The network operator keeps formats and clearance routes current across jurisdictions, so the buyer is not tracking invoicing legislation country by country.
