What is Web Manuals?

Web Manuals is a document management platform for aviation operators, covering the authoring, review, approval and distribution of operational manuals. It includes an electronic flight bag reader so crew access the current manual on the device they carry, and it publishes package pricing annually in euros or dollars.

Aviation manuals are a regulated obligation rather than internal documentation, and that is what shapes the product. An operator must demonstrate to its authority that crew are working from the current approved revision, that changes were reviewed and approved by the right people, and that the previous version history is intact. A shared folder cannot evidence any of that, and an audit finding on manual control is a serious matter for an operator's certificate.

Traceability with access control is therefore the core, recording who read which revision and when. That converts the question an inspector asks, whether crew have seen the current amendment, from an assertion into a report.

Compliance linkage is the other reason operators choose specialist tooling: manuals must reflect the regulations they implement, and when a regulation changes the affected sections have to be found. Publishing a price is unusual for aviation software and makes the product accessible to smaller operators.

Web Manuals FAQs

The Essentials Package is 4,000 euro per year. The vendor offers annual or monthly payment, with up to 20 percent discount for annual, and prices in both US dollars and euros.

They are a regulated obligation. An operator must show its authority that crew work from the current approved revision, that changes were properly approved and that history is intact, none of which a shared folder can evidence.

It records who read which revision and when, which turns the inspector's question about whether crew have seen the current amendment from an assertion into a report.

It puts the current manual on the electronic flight bag device crew carry, so the version in the cockpit is the approved one rather than a downloaded copy of unknown age.

Manuals implement regulations, so when a regulation changes the affected manual sections must be found. Linking the two makes that a lookup rather than a manual search through every document.
