Awery provides aviation business software comprising Awery ERP and the Awery Documents Library, serving commercial airlines, private operators, cargo airlines, cargo general sales agents, air charter brokers, aviation service providers, cargo handling agents and express operators.

The concentration on cargo and charter is what distinguishes it. Passenger airline software is a well served market, whereas cargo and charter operators run a different business: quoting individual movements, managing capacity sold by weight and volume, and coordinating handling agents across airports where they have no staff. Generic aviation software assumes a scheduled passenger operation and fits those businesses poorly.

Charter broking is a distinct role again, since a broker does not operate aircraft but matches demand to operators, so the software has to handle quoting and margin rather than fleet management.

The Documents Library sits alongside the ERP and addresses document distribution, keeping operational and compliance documents available to the parties who need them. Running both from one vendor means the commercial record and the documents supporting it are held together rather than in separate systems reconciled by hand.
