Odoo Accounting is the accounting application within the Odoo business suite, which spans finance, sales, inventory, manufacturing, human resources, marketing, services and website applications on a shared platform.

The One App Free tier is the commercially distinctive part and it is genuinely free rather than a trial: one application with unlimited users at no cost. For a small company that needs accounting and nothing else, that is a complete answer at zero, and it is also a deliberate acquisition strategy, because the moment the business needs a second application the pricing changes entirely.

That trade-off is the honest thing to understand before adopting it. Odoo's value comes from applications sharing one database, so an invoice raised in sales already exists in accounting and stock movements post themselves, and no integration is maintained between them. The corresponding risk is the one every suite carries: the whole business ends up on one vendor, and replacing any single part later means replacing the relationships it has with everything else.

Standard is 24 dollars per user per month billed yearly, or 31.10 dollars billed monthly, and Custom is 38.90 dollars per user, both giving access to the full application set rather than to accounting alone. Odoo Studio allows customisation without development, third-party applications extend the range further, and the software is available online, self-hosted or through partners. Artificial intelligence, internet of things and WhatsApp applications are published alongside the core suite.
