Stark is a suite of integrated accessibility tools spanning the whole software product lifecycle, from issue detection and remediation through to insights and governance, used by 50,000 companies as their accessibility infrastructure.

Starting from design rather than from the finished site is what separates Stark from the scanning vendors. Its tools reach designers in the tools they already work in, catching contrast failures, missing focus states and unlabelled components while the interface is being drawn. That is by far the cheapest place to fix an accessibility problem, because a colour choice corrected in a design file costs minutes while the same choice corrected after implementation means reopening code, retesting and often revisiting a design system that has already propagated it everywhere.

Addressing designers, developers, product managers and compliance managers as distinct audiences follows from that lifecycle position, and it reflects who actually has to act. A compliance manager needs evidence and governance, a designer needs feedback while designing, a developer needs it in code and a product manager needs to know whether a release is shippable.
