Move management is the capability that distinguishes this from booking software, and it addresses work that is genuinely laborious and almost always done in spreadsheets.

An office move, whether relocating a whole company or reorganising which teams sit where, is a constrained allocation problem. Teams need to sit together, some people need to be near specific colleagues, certain roles need particular equipment or quiet, accessibility requirements must be met, and the total has to fit the available desks.

Planning that manually means a floor plan, a staff list and a great deal of back and forth, and the result is usually discovered to be wrong on the first morning when several people find their desks taken or missing.

Managed rooms addresses the other persistent office complaint, which is that meeting rooms are booked and not used. Recurring bookings outlive the projects that created them, people book a room as insurance, and rooms show as fully booked while standing empty. Managing rather than merely booking rooms means detecting and releasing unused reservations, which reclaims capacity without building anything.

Positioning the product as a source of truth reflects the underlying problem that facilities teams face: the badge system, the booking tool, the HR directory and the floor plan each hold a different version of who works where, and none of them agree.
