Ramco Aviation provides maintenance, repair and overhaul software for aviation, aerospace and defence, covering engine MRO, maintenance and engineering, defence asset management, flight operations and fleet technical management, sitting alongside Ramco's wider ERP products.

Treating engine MRO as its own product reflects a genuine difference in the work. An engine overhaul is a deep teardown lasting weeks, where thousands of parts are removed, inspected, repaired or replaced and reassembled with full traceability on each. That is a manufacturing process with a bill of materials that changes as it proceeds, not a scheduled maintenance task, and software built for line maintenance handles it poorly.

Defence asset management is a further specialisation. Military fleets operate under different regulatory frameworks, different supply arrangements and security requirements civil operators do not carry, and the resulting records are not interchangeable.

Sitting beside Ramco's ERP line matters for the larger buyer, since an MRO provider is a business with finance, procurement and payroll as well as hangars. Buying both from one vendor removes the interface between the maintenance record and the invoice raised for it, which is where MRO billing disputes originate.
