Iotellect's defining commercial decision is refusing to meter usage. The company states plainly that customers do not pay for individual devices, metrics, stored data samples, data processing workflows, dashboards, users or concurrent users. Instead there are fixed price subscription tiers.

That matters more than it first appears. Usage metered IoT platforms make cost unpredictable exactly when a deployment succeeds, because adding devices and retaining more data is what success looks like. A fixed price removes the disincentive to instrument more of the plant.

Four tiers are published. A free limited trial allows evaluation, Basic is 99 dollars per month, Standard is 499 dollars per month and Premium is 1,999 dollars per month, with an Enterprise tier above these.

Technically the platform is full stack low code, avoiding conventional coding from protocol handling through user interface mechanics to machine learning data preparation and third party system integration. Interfaces are described as pixel perfect rather than constrained to standard IoT dashboards, so a design team's templates can be followed. Iotellect states the platform supports development of over 175 IoT and industrial IoT solution types, with edge and cloud unification allowing solutions and individual features to move between the two.
