Naming time as the constraint is the right diagnosis. A clinician has minutes between patients, so a reference that is comprehensive but slow to navigate goes unused regardless of its quality, and speed to a usable answer is the measure that decides whether these tools change practice at all.

DynaMed Solutions is a suite of three products serving different needs. DynaMedex is the most comprehensive, combining DynaMed's clinical expertise and disease content with Micromedex drug information and advanced search. Bringing disease and drug content together in one search matters because the clinical question rarely divides cleanly: treating a condition means choosing a medication, and separate tools mean two lookups under time pressure.

DynaMed Decisions is the most distinctive of the three, providing tools to calculate a patient's individual risk profile and tailor clinical guidance accordingly. That moves the product from reference to personalised decision support, since general guidance applies to a population while a risk calculation applies to the person in front of the clinician.
