Criminal justice data carries authorisation requirements that most software vendors cannot meet, and a cloud provider holding FedRAMP High can serve federal agencies alongside municipal ones rather than maintaining a separate government build.

ReportAI addresses the actual daily complaint of policing, which is report writing. An officer spends a large share of a shift narrating events into a form, and drafting assistance is one of the few AI applications in government with an obvious and measurable payoff, though it also raises the question of who is accountable for what the draft says.
