Axxess is a technology platform for healthcare at home, providing an ecosystem used by more than 10,000 organisations across home health, home care, hospice and palliative care, with financial management, business intelligence and workforce tools layered around the clinical software.

Covering all four care delivery lines from one platform is the structural strength. Home health, home care, hospice and palliative care have genuinely different clinical documentation, regulatory and billing requirements, and organisations frequently deliver more than one of them to the same patient population as needs change. A patient can move from home health to palliative to hospice within one episode of decline, and having that transition happen inside one system rather than across three vendors is materially better for both the record and the family.

Financial management covers revenue cycle management and billing services, offered as services rather than software alone, which suits agencies that would rather outsource claims work than staff it. Enterprise operations provide business intelligence, patient engagement and Axxess CAHPS for the mandated patient experience surveys that Medicare-certified agencies must run.

Axxess Care is a workforce marketplace, addressing the staffing shortage that constrains home care more than any other factor, and training and certification are offered alongside. Interoperability is treated as its own pillar with published partners and Axxess Exchange for connectivity, plus a user community.
