What is ScriptPro?

ScriptPro provides pharmacy automation and management software together, covering vial filling, adherence packaging, will call, central fill and mail order, alongside a pharmacy management system, workflow management, 340B management, prescription benefit solutions, generic drug procurement, patient engagement and hospital rebate programmes. It serves hospitals and health systems, retail, government and closed-door long-term care pharmacies.

Selling robotics and software as one system is what distinguishes this, and the integration is not cosmetic. A dispensing robot has to know which prescription to fill, in what quantity, into which vial, and report back what it did, and connecting a robot from one supplier to software from another is where these installations fail.

340B management is a specialised capability worth understanding. The federal 340B programme lets qualifying providers buy drugs at reduced prices for eligible patients, and the compliance burden of separating eligible from ineligible dispensing is substantial enough that dedicated software exists for it, with the financial consequences of getting it wrong falling on the provider.

Will call handling addresses where retail pharmacies lose money quietly, since prescriptions filled but never collected are stock, labour and reimbursement all wasted.
