What is BlueCat Integrity?

BlueCat Integrity is BlueCat's DDI platform, providing DNS, DHCP and IP address management as consolidated infrastructure for organisations standardising their core network services rather than managing a fragmented estate in place.

Consolidation is the choice Integrity represents, and it is the opposite trade from an overlay approach. Standardising DNS and DHCP onto one platform means one operational model, one upgrade path and one place where the authoritative answer lives, at the cost of a migration off whatever came before. For organisations whose current estate is genuinely unmanageable, that migration is the point rather than an obstacle.

Reliability requirements here are severe in a way that is easy to underappreciate. DNS and DHCP failures do not degrade a network gracefully, they stop it, and they stop it in a manner that presents as every application breaking simultaneously. The platform's redundancy and failover design is therefore doing more work than any feature list conveys.

Automation and API access let address allocation and record management become part of provisioning, and role based delegation lets teams manage their own zones without granting control of the whole estate, which is what makes central consolidation politically achievable in a large organisation.

BlueCat Integrity FAQs

No rate is published. BlueCat asks buyers to make contact, with pricing depending on the size of the network and the deployment model.

Integrity consolidates DNS, DHCP and IPAM onto BlueCat infrastructure, while Micetro manages existing servers as an overlay. Integrity trades a migration for one operational model and one authoritative source.

DNS and DHCP failures do not degrade a network gradually, they stop it, and the symptom is every application breaking at once. Redundancy and failover design therefore carries more weight than the feature list suggests.

Yes. Role based delegation lets teams administer their own zones without being granted control of the whole estate, which is what makes central consolidation workable in a large organisation.

Yes. API access lets address allocation and DNS record management run as part of provisioning workflows rather than as manual tickets.
